Groups that we Support

To be eligible to stay at Honour House you must be a member of one of the following groups:

Full time and Reservist members of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force)
Emergency Services (Paramedic, Police Officer, Fire Fighter)
Sheriffs
Canada Border Services Agency
Corrections Officers
Coast Guards
Emergency Dispatchers
Search and Rescue
Conservation Officers
Retired member of the listed groups

And:

You or a member of your immediate family (husband, wife, common law partner, children) must travel away from home to receive medical treatment in the Metro Vancouver Region.

Applying to Stay at Honour House 

Step 1

Download our referral form here. The referral form must be fully completed and signed by a referring agent. A referring agent can be a superior officer or direct supervisor. If you are a veteran your referral can also be signed by a Royal Canadian Legion executive member or a Veterans Affairs Manager. The referring agent must then fax, post or email the completed form back to the Honour House General Manager. We will also require a copy of the letter, doctors note or email from your medical facility which clearly confirms the dates of your appointment.

Step 2

Once received, the referral will be reviewed and a member of Honour House staff will contact you directly.

Please note that the maximum length for an initial stay is two weeks and extensions are approved on the basis of room availability during the requested period of the extension.
